Blockchain supported by Ripple, known as XRP Ledger, is set to introduce a new feature named “XRPL EVM sidechain.” Through the interoperability platform Axelar, XRP users will be able to convert their tokens to eXRP and transfer them outside the XRPL ecosystem. This concept is reminiscent of wrapped tokens and bridges, offering users increased flexibility and accessibility.
