On Tuesday, April 30, the price of Bitcoin, the dominant cryptocurrency, increased by 1.48% to reach $63,419.72. Its trading volume also rose by 42.11% in the last 24 hours, reaching $26.78 billion. The market value of Bitcoin reached an impressive $1.24 trillion. Meanwhile, Ethereum, the leading smart contract platform, saw a decrease of 0.83% in its price, settling at $3,173.09. Its market value stood at $387.26 billion, and its trading volume increased by 10.90% to $13.89 billion.
Status of Altcoins
Today, the price of Solana continued to trade below $140, settling at $136.02 after a 5% decrease. On the other hand, its trading volume increased by 1.22% in the last 24 hours, reaching $2.04 billion. Additionally, the price of XRP fell below $0.51, recording a 2.83% decrease to reach $0.5073. However, XRP’s trading volume rose by 16.31% to $705.22 million.
Altcoins like Cardano also experienced a slight drop, with its price falling by 3.33% to $0.4549. ADA’s trading volume increased by 3.98% over 24 hours, reaching $268.60 million. In the meme token category, Dogecoin saw a decrease of 3.20% in its price, trading at $0.1447. Similarly, Shiba Inu experienced a 4.09% decrease, reaching $0.00002395.
