This new version of the Orb offers increased speed and transparency, resulting in a faster identity verification process. Furthermore, World is now giving everyone the opportunity to purchase an Orb device and become an operator, allowing for wider adoption of the technology on a global scale.
World has also introduced a new product called Deep Face, which is built on the capabilities of the Orb. Deep Face focuses specifically on fraud prevention by detecting fake identities and image manipulation.
Another significant development within the World ecosystem is World ID 3.0, which offers unique anonymity controls through Anonymous Multi-Party Computation (AMPC). This technology enhances security by protecting user privacy during the identity verification process. World ID 3.0 also provides specialized identification support for government verifications, enabling safe identity confirmations with government entities.
In addition, World has completely revamped the user interface of their application, now known as World App 3.0. With 15 million active users, the application allows developers to create mini-applications for increased interaction.
Blania also announced the launch of World Chain Mainnet, a new layer based on Ethereum. This network prioritizes verified human transactions to improve scalability and accelerate human-centered financial operations.
