Different Price Scenarios
In an interview on Raoul Pal’s The Journey Man YouTube channel, Coutts stated that Bitcoin might rise to six-figure territory due to the increase in global money supply. He assessed Bitcoin’s future price movements through various potential scenarios.
Expected Price Targets and Probabilities
Coutts suggested that considering the global M2 money supply, Bitcoin could reach around $100,000 by August 2025. However, he noted that this scenario has a low probability. As a more likely forecast, he anticipates Bitcoin could reach $170,000.
“I don’t think Bitcoin will experience a parabolic rise to $500,000 in this cycle. I can see that level in the future, but it is a low-probability scenario for this cycle,” he shared regarding future possibilities.
The analyst identified four main price targets for Bitcoin. He forecasts a 15% probability for the $100,000 target, a 60% probability for $170,335, a 20% probability for $234,000, and a 5% probability for $500,000.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $67,100. According to Coutts’s predictions, these levels could materialize within the next two and a half years.
Coutts also mentioned that Bitcoin’s market capitalization could reach approximately $3.75 trillion by August 2025. These predictions could serve as significant reference points for Bitcoin market participants, yet caution is advised due to the volatility of
cryptocurrency
markets.
